Delete your account

This page explains how to delete your account in I'm Easy, the app for sharing the Places where you eat with your friends. You do not need the app on your phone to use these steps.

On the web

  1. Sign in at www.im-easy.app.
  2. Open Settings.
  3. Select Delete account.
  4. Type your username to confirm.

Your account is deleted at once, and you are signed out.

In the phone app

The phone app does not have this option yet. Use the web steps above. You can sign in on the web with the same account.

By email

If you cannot sign in, write to hello@im-easy.app from the email address of your account. Ask us to delete your account. We delete it within one month and reply to tell you.

What we delete

We delete all of this at once:

  • your Profile, username and profile photo
  • your Posts, with their ratings, and your Want-to-go entries
  • your Comments and likes
  • your Friendships and friend requests
  • your Activity entries, and the Activity entries your actions made for other members
  • the Reports you sent
  • your Photo credits
  • your Captures, and the location sent with each Capture
  • every photo you uploaded
  • your email address on the Waitlist, if you joined it

What we keep

  • Places stay in the app. A Place is a venue that all members share, such as a restaurant, and is not your data.
  • If you invited friends, their accounts stay. The link to you is removed.
  • Comments by other members keep their text, even if the text names you. The mention that links the Comment to you is removed.
  • If you ask us by email, we keep that email as a record of your request.
  • Our analytics are counted in total and are not linked to you, so there is nothing to delete.

We keep nothing else after your account is deleted. For more detail, read our privacy policy.
