Community guidelines

I'm Easy is small and invite-only, which does most of the work of keeping it pleasant. These are the rules for the rest.

What is not allowed

• Anything illegal, or anything encouraging it.
• Content that sexualises children in any way. This is the one thing we report to the authorities as well as removing.
• Threats, harassment, or targeting someone to make them miserable.
• Hatred aimed at people for who they are, including their race, religion, disability, sex, gender identity or sexuality.
• Encouraging suicide, self-harm or eating disorders.
• Posting someone's private information, or photos of them they did not agree to.
• Impersonating someone else.
• Spam, scams, or using the app to advertise.
• Reviews you invented for a place you have not been.

Reporting something

Every post has a report option in its menu. Tell us what is wrong with it and it goes to our moderation queue. You can also write to hello@im-easy.app about anything the in-app report does not cover, including something you have seen about yourself.

What happens next

A person reads every report. We aim to look within a few days, and sooner for anything suggesting someone is at risk. We may remove the content, hide it while we look, warn the member, or close their account. We will not tell you what action we took against another member, but we will tell you we have dealt with it.

If we remove something of yours

We will tell you what we removed and which rule it broke. If you think we got it wrong, reply or write to hello@im-easy.app and a person will look again. Say why you think the decision was wrong. We will come back to you with an answer rather than leaving it unresolved.
