Terms of service

These terms are the agreement between you and I'm Easy, which is run by Oisín Dorgan in London, United Kingdom. Using the app means you accept them.

You need to be 16 or over

I'm Easy is not for anyone under 16. We serve members in both the UK and Ireland, and 16 is the higher of the two minimum ages, so it is the one we apply everywhere. You confirm your age when you join. We do not check ID or use face scanning. If we learn that an account belongs to someone younger we will close it.

You need an invite

Accounts are created through an invite from an existing member. Do not share your invite link publicly. We may retire a link that is being handed around.

Your content stays yours

You own the photos and words you post. To run the app we need your permission to store them, resize them and show them to the friends you have accepted. You give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to do exactly that, for as long as you keep the content on I'm Easy, and for no other purpose. We do not license your content to anyone else, use it in advertising, or use it to train models. Deleting content ends the licence.

Only post photos you took or have the right to share, and do not post other people without their agreement.

How to behave

Our community guidelines set out what is not allowed. They are part of these terms. In short: nothing illegal, nothing abusive, nothing that puts another member at risk.

How we keep people safe

Everything in the community guidelines is banned for every member. We do not show members under 18 anything different, so the same rules protect them.

Who can see what you post.

Your posts reach only the friends you have accepted. A comment you write on a friend's post is seen by that friend's friends too. Other members can see your name and profile photo. There is no public feed and no direct messaging. Other members can find you in search only if you choose to be findable.

How we find harmful content.

We do not use automated scanning or any other proactive technology. We rely on reports from members and on email to hello@im-easy.app. A person reads every report.

How fast we act.

We aim to look at a report within a few days, and sooner when someone may be at risk. When we find content that breaks the law or our rules, we remove it, and we can suspend or close the account.

• Terrorist content. We remove it as soon as we know about it, and we close the account.
• Content that sexually exploits or abuses children. We remove it as soon as we know about it, we close the account, and we report it to the UK authorities.
• Other illegal content. We remove it as soon as we know about it, and we suspend or close the account where that is needed.

Content that is harmful to children.

These kinds of content are banned for every member. When we find them, we remove them. Members under 18 are protected by the same ban.

Four kinds are the most harmful to children. This is how we keep children of any age from seeing each one.

• Pornography. It is banned for every member, whatever their age. We remove it as soon as we know about it, and we can suspend or close the account.
• Content that encourages suicide or gives instructions for it. It is banned for every member, whatever their age. We remove it as soon as we know about it, and we can suspend or close the account.
• Content that encourages self-harm or gives instructions for it. It is banned for every member, whatever their age. We remove it as soon as we know about it, and we can suspend or close the account.
• Content that encourages an eating disorder or gives instructions for it. It is banned for every member, whatever their age. We remove it as soon as we know about it, and we can suspend or close the account.

The same ban covers these kinds too:

• Abuse or hatred aimed at people for who they are.
• Bullying.
• Real violence or graphic injury, to people or to animals.
• Promoting drug use or dangerous drinking.
• Dangerous stunts or challenges.
• Shaming people for their body.
• Content that glamorises depression or despair.

Complaints.

You can complain to us about content, about a decision we made about your content or your account, or about how we follow these terms. Write to hello@im-easy.app. A person reads every complaint and replies. If you disagree with a decision, say why and we will look at it again.

What we can do about it

We can remove content that breaks these terms or the guidelines, and we can suspend or close an account. If you think we removed something of yours or suspended your account by mistake, write to hello@im-easy.app and a person will look again.

Leaving

You can delete your account from your settings at any time. That removes your profile, posts and comments, and sweeps your stored files.

No promises about availability

I'm Easy is provided as it is. We do not promise it will always be available, that place information will always be accurate, or that it will never lose data. Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not let us exclude.

Changes and governing law

If we change these terms we will update the date above and tell you in the app when the change is significant. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and its courts have jurisdiction.
